About
Brené has been a marketing and communications expert in practice for over thirteen years. She started as a fashion and beauty model for brands such as Pantene, American Airlines, and CurlBox but quickly became interested and involved in deeper roles within visual media. Brené provided creative direction for fashion, lifestyle, and real estate brands before becoming a Multi-Media Strategist at the University of Maryland, College Park (UMD). At UMD, she partnered with incubators and technology start-ups within the state of Maryland to promote and provide funding opportunities.
Brené’s experience spans across a variety of industries; health, equity, and environmental campaigns. She contributes to federal government and commercial client initiatives, all connected by their mission toward cultural and social responsibility. Brené is dedicated to marketing causes, services, and products that benefit society at large. Owner of KAUSE Marketing & Public Relations, she provides marketing and public relations consulting to nonprofits, social impact, and community organizations missioned toward economic, health, and educational advancement. She’s studied Accounting/Actuarial Science at Earl G. Graves School of Business of Morgan State University, Business Administration at Robert E. Smith School of Business of the University of Maryland, College Park (MBA), and Digital Marketing at Yale School of Management.
